Airstel is effective against bacteria (EN 1276), fungi (EN 1650) and enveloped virusses (EN14476 against H1N1, surrogated flu virus for lipophilic viruses (Flu, Coronavirus, Ebola, Hepatitis, HIV)).
Airstel has been tested against Vaccinia virus in accordance with EN 14476:2013+A1:2015, the European regulatory standard for virucidal activity of disinfectants. Efficacy against Vaccinia virus and compliance with this standard infers efficacy against all enveloped viruses, as per clause 4- subsection b. Annex A, in EN 14476: 2013+A1:2015, compiles a list of viruses that efficacy can be inferred against as a result of the test data. This confirms 'coronavirus' as a microorganism which efficacy can be claimed. Therefore, Airstel is deemed efficacious against SARS-CoV-2 when used in accordance with the manufacturer user instructions.

Airstel is a single-shot ready-to-use disinfectant designed for the bactericidal, fungicidal and virucidal disinfection of inaccessible surfaces. Its unique formulation incorporates a natural cinnamon oil extract which is especially effective against Aspergillus brasiliensis.

Airstel is intended to be used for terminal disinfection, following contact surface disinfection, to ensure airborne microorganisms are eliminated.
