As an BS EN ISO registered company Brosch Direct operates in accordance with an independently assessed and monitored quality management system, this ensures that we deliver the service and products that our customers expect, thus helping to facilitate trade, improve competitiveness and protect customers.

Our Statement of policy is:

  • to provide a quality product and service to our customers.
  • to set business objectives, measure performance and take corrective and preventive actions as required.

Energy Policy

Brosch Direct Ltd is committed to supply its products and services in a responsible manner, helping to ensure that the impact on the local and the wider environment is minimal. As part of this plan, Brosch Direct Ltd aim to reduce the energy usage at the Bourne site and through the sub-contractors the company employs.

Brosch Direct Ltd is committed to:
  • Increasing our energy efficiency
  • Investing in energy efficient technologies
  • To maintain our certification to ISO 50001
  • Ensuring compliance with ESOS and any legal or other requirements
  • Achieving our energy objectives and targets
  • Supporting the purchase of energy efficient products and services.
Through this commitment the environmental impact of the business operation will be reduced, and the energy efficiency increased. To meet these aims, the company will instigate a programme of continuous improvement for energy consumption, this programme includes the following:
  • Regularly surveying the main energy consuming parts of the company, vehicles, equipment in the warehouse, manufacturing activities and warehouse utilities.
  • Identify methods for energy usage reduction through better process, improved ‘housekeeping’ methods, record keeping and energy progression.
  • Energy usage KPI reports and review of performance, targets and objectives at management review.
This policy shall be implemented by the Head of logistics and warehouse manager and promoted by the Environmental management system (EMS) Implementation team.

The EMS Implementation Team shall also be responsible for promoting and communicating energy efficiency to all staff and disseminating information about new programmes and initiatives.

Environment Policy

Brosch Direct Ltd is committed to minimising the impacts of its activities on the Environment through the policy framework below:

Our policy is:
  • to ensure compliance with all current, relevant environmental legislation and other requirements.
  • to maintain our registration to BS EN ISO 14001:2015.
  • to monitor and measure the environmental impacts of the Brosch Direct Ltd’s activities, products and services.
  • to identify opportunities to reduce any possible environmental impact of the business activities.
  • to ensure the efficient use of energy, water and other natural resources within the business.
  • to take all reasonable steps to prevent pollution at local and a wider environmental level.
  • to minimise waste and employ sound waste management and recycling practices both internally and amongst suppliers.
  • to encourage suppliers to develop good environmental practices.
  • to develop emergency procedures to deal with any significant environmental hazard that may arise from the activities within the business.
  • to maintain a training programme that ensures:

To ensure the effectiveness of this policy and to evaluate the continual improvement of environmental performance; objectives and targets shall be established, measured and reviewed.
