Our range of EN149:2001 + A1 2009 approved respirators have been additionally tested to meet the Dolomite clogging test* for enhanced breathability. These respirators are intended for use by any professional requiring higher particle filtration efficiencies than that which is provided by standard pleated masks. Our Respirators offer dust, mist and fume protection, making them suitable for both Healthcare and Industrial professionals.
Respiratory protection for aerosol-generating procedures
During aerosol-generating procedures, there must be minimal particulate respirator face-seal leakage to fully protect workers from exposure to small particle respiratory aerosols. The following respiratory protection options should be considered:
A particulate respirator at least as protective as a NIOSH-certified N95, EU FFP2 or equivalent is the minimum level of respiratory protection required for workers performing aerosol-generating procedures.
Appropriate procedures should be performed each time a disposable particulate respirator is worn before entering the isolation room/area.
FFP1D respirators provide protection against non toxic solid and liquid aerosols (e.g. oil mists) in concentrations up to 4.5 x MAC/OEL/TLV or 4 x APF FFP2D respirators provide protection against non-toxic and low-to-average toxicity solid and liquid aerosols (e.g. oil mists) in concentrations up to 12 x MAC/OEL/TLV or 10 x APF FFP3D respirators provide protection against non-toxic, low-to-average toxicity and high toxicity solid and liquid aerosols (e.g. oil mists) in concentrations up to 50 x MAC/OEL/TLV or 20 x APF
All Respirators Feature:
Metal free and latex free.
Exhalation valve (FM3016B & FM3018B only) reduces hot air build-up and further enhances breathability.
Soft polypropylene inner layer.
Pre-shaped nose cushion.
CE Certification according to European Council Directive 89/686/EEC and subsequent amendments. Certified by British Standards Institution
